I am a small town girl, who see's animal abuse quite often and frankly to be honest, I am sick of it! I live at home as of
now with my parents and attending college. When my dog (a pug) became a victem to a pitbull who escaped from my neighboors
yard into mine! My dog was serverly hurt. None of my parents nor i was to be paid until the next day! We called vet after
vet trying to find a place where they would wait for the money the next day and treat my dog that day. But no vet in my town
would do so! The next morning my dog passed away without any help!!! We had income just not right then to pay the vets. So
i thought what if we had a program other then PAWS (who take to long to reply) To help needy families who are going to pay
for the vet costs in payments or in a lump sum when there next paycheck arrives instead of letting the dog suffer before they
coul dget treatment. this way the pet gets treatment now and you pay when your next paycheck arrives! I know some people may
not understand. But if you ever had an ill father with medications, you have to pay for and then a freak accident does occur
and you dont have pet insurance or even know of it! Well, there should be someone to help you immeadtily so you pet gets the
treatment it deserves. Your not a bad owner for not having your paycheck that day, your just a little low on luck and thats
why i think we all could benifit from this program. What we do is pay for the vet fees and you simply pay us back with little
intrest! I think all people should have thier pets cared for and not waiting until something bad happens ( like animal control,
spca or death of pet) Eldery in fact to may have a large income but medications and living costs is a lot these days. You
just need an extra helping hand and that is what where here for! To help you and you pets live a long and happy life togather!!!
